Ingredients: 200 g penne pasta, 2 Tbsp Olive Oil, 1 chopped onion, 1 can of peeled and deseeded tomatoes, 1 Fresh chilli (or dried chilli flaked), Salt, Fresh basil
Sauce: Add olive oil and onions into a large pan, cook on medium heat until onions get soft and lightly caramelized. Add tomato can, season with some salt and chopped chilli and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes with the lid on low heat until the sauce has thickened a little (mix the sauce in between).
Pasta: add water into a pot, let it boil. Ones water is boiling add 1/2 tsp of salt and pasta. Lower the heat and let the pasta cook for 8-10 minutes. Ones your pasta is cooked rins out the water, mix pasta with your arrabbiata sauce and serve with some fresh basil.
